The View at The Palm in Dubai
Dubai now has several observation decks, including The View at the Palm. Located on Palm Jumeirah, this observation deck offers a perfect view of this unique palm-shaped island. It’s a very modern observation deck that truly provides a one-of-a-kind perspective on this part of Dubai. Find out what awaits you at the top of this tower in this article.

The Palm Tower
The View at the Palm is an observation deck located south of the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah. It is situated on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower, the island’s tallest skyscraper.
At the base of this tower is one of Dubai’s many shopping malls: the Nakheel Mall. It is smaller than the Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, but the stores offer a fairly diverse selection. It’s well-laid-out and generally quieter than the other malls.

The Palm Tower is also home to the St. Regis, a 5-star hotel, as well as luxury apartments. It is also in this skyscraper, on the 50th floor, that one of the most beautiful infinity pools is located: Aura Skypool. It’s an incredibly luxurious spot offering breathtaking views of Dubai, particularly Palm Jumeirah.

52nd-Floor Observation Deck
The View’s main observation deck is located on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower, at a height of 240 meters. After a few minutes in the elevator, you’ll arrive at the outdoor observation deck.
The view of Palm Jumeirah will unfold before you. It’s truly WOW! The platform wraps all the way around the floor, offering a 360° panoramic view of Dubai.

Before this observatory was built in April 2021, it was nearly impossible to view the island from above. The only option was to take a helicopter ride.
54th Floor of the Observatory
The 52nd floor is the main observation deck accessible with any ticket. But there’s an additional level, accessible with skip-the-line tickets, that’s even more worth the visit.
On the 54th floor of the Palm Tower is “The Next Level”: another outdoor observation deck, but this time without glass or railings. Take the time to take in this breathtaking view and snap some amazing photos.
The view from The View at The Palm
Of course, the main attraction of this observation deck is the view of Palm Jumeirah. You really get a sense of the island’s unique shape. You’ll see some of the neighborhood’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Atlantis Hotel, at the other end of the palm.
The view is truly different from the one offered by the Sky Views observatory. On one side, you can admire the Dubai Marina, notably featuring the Ain Dubai in the distance. On the other side, you’ll see the Burj Al Arab. And if the sky is clear, you’ll spot the legendary Burj Khalifa on the Dubai skyline.
Before heading up to the observation deck, you’ll pass through an underwater tunnel and then an immersive exhibition. It highlights the creation of Palm Jumeirah from its beginnings to the present day.
Tickets for The View at The Palm in Dubai
There are several ticket options for The View at The Palm. We recommend booking them as soon as possible since this is a very popular attraction.
You can either buy standard tickets or skip-the-line tickets. Personally, we recommend the skip-the-line tickets: not only do you save time, but you also get access to the observation deck on the 54th floor.
Prices also vary depending on the time of day: if you want to visit the observatory during sunset, the price will be higher.

What to see around The View at the Palm?
This observation deck is located on Palm Jumeirah. It’s an iconic neighborhood that we recommend visiting. There are also a few must-see activities there.
Aquaventure Water Park
This is where Dubai’s largest water park is located: Aquaventure Waterpark, located within the Atlantis resort. We loved it! Whether you’re traveling with kids or not, you’re sure to have a great time. There are so many slides and water attractions that you’ll have a hard time fitting everything into one day.

Lost Chambers Aquarium
Right next to the water park is one of Dubai’s aquariums: The Lost Chambers Aquarium. It is themed around the myth of Atlantis, the lost city at the bottom of the sea. The aquarium offers a truly immersive experience. Thousands of marine species live there: you can even go diving to observe them up close.
