Shopping
Dubai Marina Mall
Although less well-known than Dubai’s other shopping malls, this mall is still well worth a visit if you’re looking for a more intimate setting. It features 160 stores spread across 4 floors. You’ll find a wide variety of stores: clothing, accessories, cosmetics, and more. Its architecture is, of course, as modern and luxurious as ever and matches the style of the rest of the Marina.
The Neighborhood at a Glance
Dubai Marina is located in what is known as “New Dubai”. In fact, it is one of the newest and most modern neighborhoods, built as recently as 1998. Always striving to set new records, the goal was to create the world’s largest marina. Today, it is a very upscale and lively neighborhood in Dubai.
The neighborhood is built around a 3.5-kilometer-long artificial canal. There, you’ll see numerous skyscrapers, mostly residential buildings or luxury hotels.

There are also plenty of outdoor terraces where you can eat or have a drink: the atmosphere is truly lively, especially in the evening when people come out to stroll and enjoy the nightlife.

Dubai Marina: A Great Neighborhood to Stay In
This neighborhood is very well-located for staying in Dubai. In fact, you’re close to all the amenities: beaches, boardwalks, shops, restaurants… It’s truly a very pleasant part of Dubai: you can walk around without cars everywhere, and the atmosphere in the evening is superb.
It’s still a fairly upscale neighborhood, so some accommodations can be quite expensive. But you can still find places to stay at very reasonable prices. That’s exactly what we did, and we were very satisfied!
